Chrisman Industrial Technology Department Named Program of the Year, Students Win 17 Awards
William Chrisman’s industrial technology students earned 17 ‘Grand’ Awards (the highest possible) and the department, under the direction of teacher Scott Engelmann, was named Program of the Year during the district Technology Education Association of Missouri (T.E.A.M.) competition at the Metropolitan Community College (MCC) Business and Technology Center. Creating everything from a picnic table to a night stand, the Chrisman craftsmen earned a trip to the annual T.E.A.M. State Awards Program May 4-5 at the Lake of the Ozarks.
T.E.A.M. was created to develop and advance industrial technology and engineering education throughout the state and insure it remains a vital educational component for every Missouri student.
