Mill Creek Celebrates International Walk to School Day

Hundreds from Mill Creek Elementary joined together for International Walk to School Day this week. Fox 4 News reported from the walk and it was very special to see so many students, parents, teachers and community members come together. A special thanks to the William Chrisman cheerleaders and members of the football team and band who took part. In October every year, millions of children from countries around the world participate in International Walk to School Day. The events raise community and global awareness about being healthy and active. It also serves as a valuable way for parents to spend time with their children and to socialize with other parents and neighbors. Thanks to everyone who made this such a special day!
