ISD Hosts Free Job Fair for High School Students
The Independence School District has partnered with area businesses to host a free job fair Tuesday, March 20th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at William Chrisman High School. This event is open to all ISD students interested in part time, full time and summer employment. Some students have already taken advantage of pre-events at each high school where students participated in mock interviews and resume reviews.
Students attending the job fair at William Chrisman should dress professionally, bring a resume and be ready to interview. Shuttle buses will be provided for students who do not have transportation. A bus from Truman High School to William Chrisman will leave THS at 3:15 and return from WCHS to THS at approximately 5:15 p.m. Students should board on the north side of Truman. A bus from Van Horn High School to William Chrisman will leave VHHS at 3:15 and return from WCHS to VHHS at approximately 5:15 p.m. Students should board in the front bus loop.
