Nearly $60,000 Raised for ISD Foundation

Thank you to all of the students, teachers, staff and administrators who joined us in celebrating ISD Foundation Week! With your generosity and giving spirit, we were able to raise nearly $60,000. All donations collected during our district-wide spirit week directly benefit staff, students and families in the Independence School District through the ISD Foundation. The Foundation works to strengthen our schools and community by offering more than $80,000 in scholarships for students to obtain dual credit while attending ISD high schools, supporting ISD families through Holiday Helpers, providing funding for activities for students and mentors through Inspire Friends, offering classroom grants for teachers to enhance educational opportunities for students and funding for ISD Academies student and staff opportunities.
