ISD Academies Host Jamboree
All 8th-11th grade ISD students had the opportunity to participate in our Academy Jamboree on Thursday, January 23. The Jamboree allowed students to get more information about ISD Academies and Pathways before registering for classes. The Jamboree also provided opportunities for networking with dozens of local businesses that are ISD industry partners.
The Independence School District is proud to offer nearly 100 courses for college credit with more than 400 college credit hours available. This is allowing our students the option to earn their Associate’s Degree while attending ISD high schools, giving them another competitive advantage over their peers. We are building our future workforce and inspiring future Independence business leaders. Thank you to the hundreds of students and business partners who attended our Jamboree this year. We are very proud of the advancements and opportunities the Academies provide all ISD high schools students.
