Twelve ISD Students Qualify for National Speech and Debate Tournament

Twelve ISD high school students qualified for the 2021 National Speech and Debate Tournament! Congratulations to Bank Daniel, Caden Metcalf and Iliana Reyes from William Chrisman High School, Ava Autrey, Danilo Book, Hadley Brillhart, Paige Gonzales, Gabbie Petentler, Shelbee Reeves, Ayden Smith and Owen Williams from Truman High School, and Chace Todd-Keillor from Van Horn High School. Less than four percent of student members qualify to compete at the National Tournament. This year’s national competition will be held virtually from June 13-19. Congratulations on an incredible accomplishment!
