ISD Partnering with Hazel Health

The Independence School District is partnering with Hazel Health to expand student health services. Hazel offers virtual doctor visits accessible from the school nurse’s office for PreK – 12th grade. When your student is feeling sick while at school, they can connect with Hazel for same-day care.

ISD families can opt-in to Hazel by submitting a signed consent form.  If a student isn’t feeling well during the school day, school health staff can facilitate a telehealth visit. Parents will be notified prior to any virtual visit. Find more information on Hazel Health here.
