The ISD is Serving Up Free Meals This Summer

The Independence School District is making free breakfast and lunch available to children age 1 – 18 this summer at select locations.

Some adults age 18 – 21 are eligible for free meals if they meet disability requirements. Eligible disabled adults are those who are determined by a state educational agency or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically handicapped and who participate in a public or non-profit private school program established for the mentally or physically handicapped.
