Three ISD Elementary schools partner for ISD Latino Culture Night

Fairmount, Mallinson, and Sugar Creek Elementary Schools joined together for the district’s first Latino Culture Night on Thursday, November 9. Families, students, and staff celebrated together as the community took a local tour of three different Latin American countries.
ISD Family School Liaisons, the Principals from each school, teachers and staff, and the Latino Culture Night Committee put on the event. They showcased Mexican Folkloric Dancers, and attendees enjoyed tasting food from Chile, Honduras, and Mexico. The principals even competed in a friendly competition that included dancing and tortilla making. It was a well-attended event that celebrated some of the many cultures represented here in the ISD!
