Celebrating PTA: Independence Council PTA Founder’s Day Breakfast
There was a fantastic turnout at this morning’s Founder’s Day Breakfast celebrating the partnership between the ISD and the ICPTA and all of the hard work that PTA does for the students and staff of the Independence School District.
District and School Administrators, PTA sponsors, and students from each ISD school gathered with PTA presidents, members, community members and Independence leaders for an appreciation breakfast at the Delaware Event Space, catered by the ISD’s Westside Cafe.
The annual event recognizes the efforts of the PTA and its service to our schools, as well as celebrates the impact and history of PTA. The ICPTA states its purpose is to, “provide support and assistance to the individual school PTAs and coordinate efforts and between local units. Councils help develop leadership, and support and encourage State and National PTA programs and projects.”
The ISD is grateful for this long-standing, ongoing partnership! #isdstrong #strongertogether
