A Big Roar Rally: Celebrating Students and Honoring a Local Hero

Three Trails Elementary recently held a Big Roar Rally 🎉 to celebrate students’ outstanding attendance and academic achievements for Quarter 2 🏆. The event also recognized Lee Sweeney, the school’s head custodian, for his exceptional service. 🙌 Mr. Sweeney truly exemplifies the spirit of a servant leader, having previously served our country as a Marine 🇺🇸, our community as a police officer 👮 and firefighter 🚒, and now the students and staff of the Independence School District. In appreciation of his dedication, Jim Oatman and the Van Horn Project Home Team presented him with a beautifully crafted wooden flag 🏅, commemorating his remarkable service journey. ✨
