Congratulations Pioneer Ridge IMPACT students!
We are immensely proud to announce that a group of exceptional Pioneer Ridge students has emerged as one of the Top 20 finalists in Burns & McDonnell’s prestigious Battle of the Brains competition. These young innovators have showcased their ingenuity, teamwork, and dedication to STEM education by earning a coveted spot in this highly competitive challenge. They learned of their accomplishment at a surprise announcement in front of their school last week, complete with a cheer squad, district leadership, and bubbles!
The Battle of the Brains competition, hosted by Burns & McDonnell, is renowned for its commitment to fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students. Our Pioneer Ridge finalists have not only met but exceeded expectations, standing out among hundreds submissions from across both sides of the state line.
This achievement is a testament to the students’ passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as their ability to think critically and collaborate effectively. As a community, we celebrate their success and commend their commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.
The dedication and hard work demonstrated by these students reflect not only their individual talents but also the excellence that Pioneer Ridge encourages and nurtures. We eagerly anticipate the final results and are confident that this talented group will continue to shine as they represent our school in the Battle of the Brains competition.
