The Independence School District’s Kids’ Safari program provides before and after school care to students Pre-K through 8th grade. Kids’ Safari is an essential part of the ISD’s commitment to enriching the lives of our students beyond the school day.  

“It is education extended,” says ISD Board of Education Director Carrie Dixon. “More than just childcare, it is our ability to provide our students with a supportive environment where they’re nurtured and cared for.” 

ISD Board of Education Director Anthony J. Mondaine says: “[Parents] need that resource, and so we’re proud to offer that childcare to our families.”
