The Independence School District celebrates the diversity of our community, and we work to ensure our students have equal access to information in their preferred language. Our full-time Interpreters are essential in this mission as they serve our families’ translation needs.
“It is a critical tool to be prepared to accommodate the families we serve,” says Board of Education Director Anthony J. Mondaine.
Board of Education Director Carrie Dixon says, “We’re saying your family is important, and your participation in your child’s education is really important, so we want to give you the tools to be able to do that.”
