Chrisman Senior Performing at SantaCaliGon

Music and performing in front of large audiences is a big part of William Chrisman senior Anna O’Renick’s life.

“It is what I am,” she said. “I love it.”

O’Renick, a member of Chrisman’s Blue and Gold Singers, is performing with her father Mark at the SantaCaliGon Days Festival Sunday, Sept. 6 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the gospel stage at Grace Church.

“It’s a chance to perform with my dad,” she said. “I am very excited.”

O’Renick, who has performed in school musicals, has also performed in other community productions. This summer, she played Laurie in Blue Springs Community Theater’s production of “Oklahoma.” O’Renick worked for eight weeks to hone her craft and then appeared in eight shows.

“It was the best (production) in six years,” O’Renick said.  “They loved it.”
