William Chrisman Wins Wagon Wheel at New Truman Stadium
When Truman and William Chrisman played their rivalry game Friday, September 2, 2016, it was the first true home game between the two at Truman Stadium. Congratulations to William Chrisman for taking home the Wagon Wheel trophy!
Truman graduate, football player and country music star Jason Pritchett proudly sang the National Anthem before the game on Friday night. Pritchett is a 1999 Truman high school graduate, who now has a pair of top 40 country music hits. Also part of the special evening, were the men who laid the groundwork for the stadium. All of the head football coaches from the history of Truman Football were invited back and all but two were able to make it.
Thanks to upgrades including additional seating, a press box, concessions and restrooms, Truman Stadium will now host all Truman home games. We had a large crowd and a wonderful evening. Congratulations to William Chrisman for taking home the Wagon Wheel trophy and thank you to everyone who made this night so special!
