Superhero Celebration for Blackburn Student

Blackburn Elementary student MJ had a very special day thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and his school family at Blackburn Elementary in the Independence School District. Students wore green (the color for MDS) to show their support for MJ.  A limo picked him up from school and took him and three school friends on a shopping spree for Marvel Universe, DC Comics and Star Wars toys! His fellow third grade students lined the front hall and sidewalk to cheer for him and send him off like a “rock star”.  The third grade also made superhero masks to wear during the sendoff.
