Leaving a Legacy

Seniors in the Independence School District are carrying out a tradition in their final days as high school students. Seniors from Truman, Van Horn and William Chrisman High School enjoyed rock star treatment as they returned to their elementary and middle schools amid fanfare for a Legacy Walk during their last week of high school. The seniors were greeted with high-fives and cheers as they paraded through the halls. Look at the pride on the graduates’ faces and the joy they brought to the younger students. There were emotional moments as seniors saw some of their former teachers for the first time in years. Congratulations graduates!
