Principals and teachers getting duct taped to a wall, kissing a pig and getting pied in the face are just a couple of the creative incentives used in the Independence School District to raise more than $30,000 for the United Way of Greater Kansas City. Our Independence School District staff created unforgettable moments while reminding students of the importance of giving back to those in need. It was heartwarming to witness the kindness and generosity of our Independence community!
