KC Scholars – Scholarship Opportunities

KC Scholars was designed to create life-changing opportunities for thousands of students through scholarships, financial incentives to promote college savings and support services. Learn more about the three different scholarship programs offered through KC Scholars and apply today using the links below. The scholarship application deadline is March 1.

College Savings Account Match
Current 9th Grade Students
Deadline: March 1, 2019

The College Savings Account Match can include a starting $50 seed account and up to $7,000 in match and incentives applied toward college tuition.  We invite you to speak with your counselor with any questions or for assistance. Current 9th-grade students can apply here.

KC Scholars Traditional Scholarship
Current 11th Grade Students
Deadline: March 1, 2019

The Traditional Scholarship through KC Scholars awards up to $10,000 per year for up to 5 years. We also invite you to speak with your counselor with any questions or for assistance. Current 11th-grade students can apply here.

KC Scholars Adult Learner Scholarship
Age 24 or older
Deadline: March 1, 2019

The Adult Learner Scholarship through KC Scholars is up to $5,000 per year for up to 5 years. Adults age 24 and older can apply here.
